I was traveling to see family and hit upon this gem. The people were from Italy and my hero was amazing. I ordered chicken parm with prosciutto. It was enough for two. While there they had true sesame breadsticks, Italian rainbow cookies and more specialties. It Maude me realize I miss NY and true good deli food.

Great Italian deli. Good for lunch but if I had one complaint is that they give you way too much food! When we get this at work for lunch, I have to plan it as a two day meal. But I will say, their catering blows away any other catering place. You order a tray of chicken francaise or parmigiana and you get more chicken than you could ever expect. They do not short change you on the amount of food they give you. But add to that, it's outstanding! The catering here is unbeatable! Trust me when I tell you, next family party, get it catered here. You will not be disappointed! You will be so happy you went here!!
Ordered 2 six foot hero's for an event, great service and everyone loved the quality. Great people to deal with great food and competitive pricing, whats not to like.
THE BEST Italian deli around. Fresh and delicious, huge portions for a fair price. It's very old school, so nothing flashy, just good food. We regularly use them for catering and everyone always loves the food.
Ardito's has one of the best Meatball Parm Heros I've had in a long time! Lots of meatballs, nice amount of sauce, not too much mozz so that you can appreciate the meatballs, and it's about a foot long! The sauce reminds me of the sauce that a neighbor's mom (she's Italian and a great cook!) used to use in her lasagna when I was growing up. I'm dying to try theirs to see if it's as good as hers! Unfortunately, I never know when they have it on the menu for takeout. What I don't like about them is that the only menu they have is the catering one. Each time I go, I never know how much I'm spending or what they have on their menu for take out orders (when is there lasagna?). I've also heard their eggplant parm and chicken parm heros are good. I'll try them the next time I'm in the mood for a parm hero. As it is, I only go there when I'm in the mood for a meatball hero. If there was a takeout menu, I'd probably go more often. They're a mom and pop (or poss. nonna i nonno) place and have imported foods there for sale, and really good fresh mozz. I was going to pick up one of their imported Panattone when I was there today but forgot! Yum!
Sunday Ardito's Italian deli catered a family party . The party consisted of my family of 15 people and 20 firemen and of cause Santa . It was our annual Santa on the fire truck visit . It was the first time I used Ardito's of Mineola and I was so very happy I did . They made the ordering process very easy . The food was excellent and everyone complemented how good it was . We had 2 three foot hero's , a vegetable tray and an antipasto tray . I had my 5 grandchildren so I also had chicken finger , Mac and cheese, and pigs in a blanket. The kids loved the food too. The staff at the deli was very accommodating
Love this place , food is always fresh. We always order our catering from here and it's never had an issue. Lunch is also a great treat when I have time to come by. Top pick ; chicken fingers , penne alla vodka , chicken parm , baked ziti chicken fingers are better than doms !
The best deli ! Best chicken fingers, best chicken cutlet sandwiches, best Italian food, best service and best everything!!!! RUN DONT WALK!!! Soo good!
